Question How to remove the stock side mirrors?

Does anyone know how to remove the stock side mirrors? I ordered the Kawasaki 08 ZX6 stock side mirrors becasue they have the same bolt placement, but I can't figure out how to remove the current mirrors?

Remove the plastic covers by the speedo that will give you access to the bolts for the mirrors
