I'm looking to get a new summer jacket and I found this Alpinestars S-MX Bionic 2 Protection Jacket to be a multi-tasker, I'm thinking about using the awesome protection it offers to ride with regular jackets over it, or just use it without anything else to cover it.

Does anybody have this outer protection jacket? And if yes, what is your take on it?

Im a bit confused. Is this a jacket or do you wear it over your motorcycle jacket?

Btw, they sell a spine protector thing, I wonder how useful that'd be...

Well you can use that as a jacket, but most likely I'll use it under a regular jacket.
