Default XJ6N with Krauser Luggage

Just finished fitting my old Krauser Panniers to my XJ6.

Ive used the K-wing thingys so i can take the panniers on/off with the key (quick release). its a little wider than i wanted but, all being well i can do a bit of touring when i have 2 weeks off over easter.

i used a givi plxr to mount to bike and connected the krauser-wings to the givi rack using steel pipe clamps, i hope yet to buy the correct kappa/givi panniers, but this will do for the minute.

Looks great mate. I'd blank out your plate though, I watched a programme on TV this week about bad people cloning bikes seen on the web for use in crimes. Scary.

i hope so, this bike has all the makings of a good all-round tourer. i have 6 weeks off in the summer - i could really go for a trip to the asian part of turkey or north africa. Love the simplicity of design of this bike and the fact everybody who has seen it has complement the styling of it.

Do you plan to do any touring on yours Jim?
