Default T-Rex Racing Spools

Was planning on getting a Rear stand for the FZ6R and was wondering what size spool do I need? I think the sizes come in 6, 8 and 10mm?

Also isn't bigger the better? Since it also acts as a frame slider for the swing arm.

6, 8 and 10 mm refer to the bolt sizes if your swingarm is already tapped for spools. The FZ6R isn't, so if you're going to drill and tap, you can choose the size (I agree, bigger is probably better).

Personally, I use a swingarm stand that doesn't require spools, and I have no complaints.

Some of us got ours at Harbor Freight. They are light weight but they do the job fine. Check Habor Freight.com

stock yamaha size is 6mm, i just got my vortex spools in today, going to drill and tap the swingarm soon. I prefer the spools, just makes a more solid mount for the stand. the spool-less kind can slip and drop the bike.

no spools for the front, but supermoto engineering might be a good place to check for sliders.

i've used their rear spool stand, worked great, and pretty nice for the price.. I have dmp stands, the rear is good, the front headstand bent on me though. I just rewelded it and added some reinforcements, and its better than new.
