Anyone have pictures of aftermarket pegs on their FZ6R? Been dying to get some since I don't really like the stock.
Also where did you get it? etc...

Good question. I've thought about getting some aftermarket pegs (don't really like the big rubber pad on the stock ones) but if I remember correctly, most aftermarket pegs for Yamaha's don't fit directly on our bike without some modification.

I've been interested in the same thing, though I don't have any complaints about the current pegs, other than I have flattened the peg scrapers into a semi-circle
.

You gotta do a full write up on how to do that any what needs to be ordered. I'm not sure I'd really want to do it since I like my riding position (it's the main reason I bought this bike) but it'd be something to think about should I ever decide I wanted to change.

i'd shop on the r1-forum.com for sale ads, you can get a set of rearsets for around 50-100 bucks. I'm not sure which shift rod you'd need though. I just happen to have the right one, but its a aftermarket unit, so I don't know what bikes might work. The rear brake master cylinder bolted right up. And if you want to retain the rear brake, you can get a hyrdraulic brake switch. Only thing you need to do it drill and tap the lower mounting hole, pretty straight forward though. I used the fz6r mounting hardware. You will also need a r1/r6 shift knuckle because the shift rods are different.
