Default New tires, new chain.

Tax time is here! I am going to upgrade the bike with some new shoes and a new chain. I am thinking Michelin Pilot Power's. I am probably going with a 170 in the rear. As for the chain I am going with a Did x-ring chain. Now the only question I have about that is how many links is the stock set up? o.O

Motorcycle Superstore has some killer deals right now on Pilot Powers. If you have someone who can mount them up for you if you buy them elsewhere you can save a bunch.

how many miles do ya have that you would need a chain ? if ya do replce it , as its wore , ya better do it as a full set or mess up a new chain
a woren chain will pull off the rear sprocket about 1/2 tooth

I replaced the two sprokets in the rear but kept the stock chain. I only put a couple hundred miles on the spokets so tax time, new chain.
