Cortech sport saddlebags and sport tail bag combo is great. Integrated and the tail bag can be popped off easily with four very secure integrated clips. Will hold a ton, but no helmet. Helmet sits nicely on one of the pillion foot rests and you can use a simple bicycle lock to secure it to the bike. No security for the bags really, but just don't leave any valuables in the bags.

I did get the Kriega stuff (R25 and US10) and it came about two weeks ago. I was waiting to post up anything of length about it, because I haven't had a chance to throughly test it yet, besides around town. Just around town, I must say I am very impressed. Solid stuff, looks good, and functions excellent. I fully expect it to last way beyond the 10-yr warranty Kriega provides.
beyond being impressed on short trips, I haven't had a chance to test it on an extensive weekend jaunt or anything. I am planning a weekend trip here in the next month that should give me an excellent chance to thrash the luggage around and put it through its paces. I will report back then with a full review and pics. |

I use an Oxford Humpback Tail/Tank Bag. Converts to either & has straps to use as backpack. Expands to 28L & can take a Full Face helmet.
Just had a good read through the thread & it looks like my Oxford is very similar to the Cortech sport tailbag Last edited by streetmaster; 05-01-2010 at 10:10 PM. |

Day-Day and short weekend trips the tail bag is perfect. Start with the tail bag, you'll see it has plenty of storage, especially when you extend out the sides another 4 inches (2 each side). Then you can add the saddlebags later if needed. I don't think you can have the saddlebags without the tail, as four of your straps on them go to the tailbag. |

I just received the bags I ordered online for my bike as I'm taking a week-long trip to Kentucky and needed storage space...
Picked up a Nelson Rigg CL-150 Expandable Sport Tail Bag, set of CL-900 Mini Saddlebags, and a CL-50 Micro Magnetic Tank Bag. The saddlebags are the perfect size, as the straps aren't spaced too far apart for the tiny tail end of the FZ6R. I haven't gotten everything mounted yet... that's something I'm playing around with this weekend. I'll u/l pics once I've got everything secured. |
