got my Cortech tail bag lately.. super easy to install.. tried it today, rode to work 25 miles each way no complains so far. i hope you make a wise decision... it's the tail bag which makes all the difference... it changed me somewhat, now when my wife kicks me out of the house i know i have the
Cortech bag on my bike with my sleepin bag in it.... lol

Kriega, hands down, Kriega. The Cortech is nice, but the Kriega US20 (or the US30 or US40 combos) provides everything you need and they are absolutely raved about on ADVrider, sportbikes.net and pretty much everywhere else. I love my US30, though I'm only using it as a messenger/book bag at the moment. Get the strap keepers with it so that you can just buckle the straps down to the seat when you take your bag off. Plus, they're waterproof, you don't need covers.
I don't know if I'd get just the 10 though, get the 20 to start as it's a more useable size, add the 10 later (or use it as a tank bag with their tank bag adapter). |

I have the black Axio hard shell tail bag. It's on the small side and doesn't strap well, but it looks like it was made for the bike. Good for rain suit, gloves, etc. It also comes in red, silver, cf, and blue.

Is there any way to attach a tailbag if you have a fender eliminator? I like the look of bikes without that nasty fender, but I use my tail bag so much I don't think it'd be practical for me.

Don't know what you have, but I can tell you the Cortech sport tailbag bungees securely to the passenger grab rail, no fender needed.

So...I couldn't wait any longer. I finally pulled the trigger on the Kriega stuff last night. Now I get to sit in my chair and refresh the UPS tracking numbers 50 times a day until it arrives....
.... I will be out of town later this week and the first part of next, but I will post up a review of it as soon as I get a chance to put it through its paces.

I had a rear bag left over from my cruiser days, so I tried it on the FZ6R.
It's a KTC tail bag that's a little big and not attractive, but very functional: ![]()
