After installing my no-cut frame sliders, I rode my 6r 10 miles. The next day, I rode 30 miles and returned home to find that the right-side slider had spun off the bracket (it wasn't loose when I installed it).
I e-mailed them on Sunday, but haven't heard from them yet. Is it reasonable to expect them to replace it? Thanks! Keith |

If I was the retailer (T-Rex in this case) I wouldn't offer to replace it because it probably wasn't installed correctly. ![]() I installed mine over 3500 km (2200 miles or so) ago and haven't had any issue. Later!

They will likely not replace it. With thread locker and proper torque on the bolt, it shouldn't have come loose at all. Could it/did it spin even a little after install?

Thanks for the responses.
It was attached to the bracket when I got it. The installation instructions didn't mention anything about dismounting it and putting thread lock on it. I just removed the other side and it doesn't have thread lock either. I'll get some before I lose it too. |

I just looked at the instructions and see there isn't anything about thread locker and torquing those to the mounts as well. I did do that anyway, heck, I do this to every single bolt I remove and put back on the bikes out of habit. Bikes are notorious for loosening stuff with the vibrations at high RPMs.
Great habit to get into! |

I agree,
FYI, the replacement is $10 + $5 for shipping. |
