Question seat mods for fz6r.....help too short!

If this has been discussed i'm sorry.

I don't want to install a lowering link but would like to know if there are seat mods that can be done to gain about an inch?

Could shave the seat, lower it if you haven't already with the bolts on the seat since it can be adjusted a little for small and tall riders.

Wear Boots, or get used to it.

I chose to lower it since I'm not taking it to the track or anything and I'm just going to ride on the streets.

Well I think he means "lift the seat about an inch".

I don't remember seeing anything here on raising the seat... sorry bud. But I'm sure you can send your original seat in to be custom raised. Search for stuna's posts, I think he mentioned something about that.

...and I found the post...

I thought the post was about how their inseam was too short.. no? And I remember there are two holes on the seats, the one on top to lower the seat and the one on bottom to increase the seat height.

Either you bought the bike early 2009 or your dealer lied to you. The bike does have lowering links, Roaring Toyz makes it and the kickstand too.
