Default New bike leaking radiator fluid.....?

Thread says it all. Just picked up the bike on tuesday and now have 200 miles on it and I noticed two drops of radiator fluid on the garage floor the other morning. They are coming from the right side of the bike right around where the water pump drain bolt is. My question to all of you is that has anyone experience a new bike leaking fluid already? I am pretty sure the fluid isnt coming from any of the black drain hoses. Does anyone know where the radiator overflow tube is at? When I look up under the bike at where its dripping from I cant tell where its coming from as it looks like it has been dripping down the side of the case. Any ideas? Back to the dealership?

I would take it back to the dealership just to make sure. If it's only 200 miles it should still be under warranty for a year.

The overflow tube is attached to the coolant bottle cap on the right side of the bike. You have to remove the fairing panel to access it.

exactly. overflow. there are 2 rubber tubes right by the right footpeg for run off. you'll need to take the right fairing off to actually check your coolant level

I think I am just going to take it back up to the dealership and let them deal with it. Not even a week old and its leaking....... Hope this is the last of the issues. This should be part of a yamaha warrenty thing right?

Remain calm. I know it's hard not to worry about every little thing on a brand new bike, but we're talking about two drops of coolant, right? Heck, I had a Triumph that leaked a quart of oil every night (OK, I made that up. But you get my drift.) It's almost certainly overflow or a loose clamp.

Well I went out to the garage and checked out the hose clamps and they are tight and I pulled the overflow tube out to take a look at it and it doesnt even have any coolant coming out of it. Completly dry. The problem I am having is that I cant find the source of where the leak is coming from. I have a feeling its coming from behind the water pump somewhere but who knows. Going to take it back to the shop on tuesday and hope they find something simple with it. The coolant is coming from directly below where the coolant drain bolt is but isnt coming out of the bolt, so I cant figure out where it is coming from.

funny thing I went for my first ride today (Bike has less than 50 miles on it) and about an hour into it I thought I smelled burning coolant...Twice actually. I stopped the bike the second time and couldnt see anything. And I just checked the bike in the garage and I dont see any leaks...but I might have to look at this again with the cowls off...interesting
