Limited budget here, I voted for the stealth look, but after looking at some of the prices for their other systems, it looks like they are somewhat inline with what others charge... guess I would have to see what they came up with.

To me, putting a $1k exhaust on a $6k bike, doesn't make much sense, I could use that for better purposes.... a $200-400 option for looks/sound might be reasonable, because that flat black "can" under there just doesn't do the bike justice.

You don't have to spend $1,000 on the TBR. If you call Diego at Cycle Sector (click the link in my signature to go to his site and get the phone number. Tell him I sent you) he's got a far better price on the TBR system than anyone online. He quoted me $755. As soon as I get the cash together I'll be ordering it from him. Not sure what shipping would be since I'd be picking it up from his shop.

Still $755 for an exhaust...though I realize its a full exhaust...idk if I could do it. The most I have ever paid for one is $420 for my Yoshimura slip-on on my old cbr...

This is true...a power commander though (what you use to change the fuel maps and do the actual tuning) is another $370 + the tune itself....

I know a lot of guys have put the TBR on (only exhaust, not an intake too) and by disconnecting the battery, the ECU was able to adjust for the new exhaust and it runs just fine. Maybe not the perfect solution and won't run quite as well as it would if you put a PC on and got a dyno tune. But lets face it, most of us who are putting exhaust on this bike aren't doing it for the performance increase. I know I'm not. I want the bike to sound like the sportbike it is, not a pissed off weed whacker.

If I am gona spend $1000 on an exhaust, I better get something more than sound out of it...

I am just waiting to see if some company comes out with a budget version...something sub-$600 range...if so, I am in.

It seems a bunch of companies are showing interest in making an exhaust for our bikes. I know Arrow has 2 different systems, leo vince has 2, two bros, and now we have muzzy's and dash custom taking us seriously. It wont be long before the other big players step in. Still, the cost is the biggest problem. Someone needs to come up with a slip-on. I know the ninja 650r uses a similar setup as ours and it has slip-ons available. A slip-on would be so much less cost prohibitive from a buyers standpoint, IMO.

the stock exhaust is all one complete piece, so there would be no way to add just a slip on.

The ninja 650r/versys/er6n is also one piece i belive, but it still uses a slip on too. Also, i forgot to mention that termignoni has a system out for our bikes too.
