Nice! Yeah it hit low 70's today here but winds kept me out of the mountains.

OK all you cold weather guys need to take that cold weather back.

I don't know what is more frustrating. Living where you know you have a set riding season and knowing you have to put the bike away for a 3-6 month period every year.

OR

Living here in sunny Southern California where we're supposed to have good riding year around and have great sunny weather (like it is out right now and I'm stuck in the office ) all week long, then starting every Friday evening for the last month it starts raining all the way up until Sunday night. Then it's nice and sunny all the way until the weekend again. I HAD to get on the bike Wednesday night for a few minutes just to know I can still ride. Hadn't been on it in 3 weeks and it was a 3 week gap back to the time before that. And it's not like we're getting clobbered with 6" of rain every day. It' just enough to keep the roads wet and the roads dirty enough to make tearing up the canyon roads not an option.

I know I brought this on myself by bragging about having great weather and being able to ride, blah blah blah. Go ahead and laugh at me. I can take it.

Never put the bike up for months, had a week or so after the 3ft of snow I couldn't ride, but been riding every couple of days since.
I actually enjoy riding in the rain, if it's warm. It's just the cleaning up the bike and waiting for all the rain gear to dry after that's a pain.
I do feel your pain on the weather "ruining" the weekends though, before all the snow hit in VA, it seemed like it was in the 50-60s all week, then a cold front would move in for the weekend and it would drop down to the 30s. Fortunately, I can ride my bike to work, but still not as fun as non-traffic-jam weekends on the back roads.

Yeah it is very depressing to think about not having ridden, and having to drive a cage everywhere. So I picked up rain gear a few months ago and said; "screw it", and haven't stopped riding for rain or cold.

OMG! I am so over the snow here in NYC! I have never been anxious for the winter to be over before. But, this year I am.

Don't mind the wet much b/c my bike was my main source of transportation in FL. If you don't ride in the rain, you don't ride. Snow and ice is a totally different story for me. Kudos to you all who ride in all kinds of weather.
