My advice to you is to read all existing threads on that subject. Here's a few, enjoy:

No-Cut Frame Slider Recommendation

Intuitive No Cut Framer Sliders

Shogun frame sliders--how much cutting?

No Cut T-Rex Frame Sliders

Please search the threads.
As to no-cut vs. cut, I believe you'll find most are very happy with no-cut, why ruin a perfectly good fairing just to "save" it.

Thumbs up No-cuts...

Go with the T-Rex no cut's. Nice look, no damage, quick install and fast ship.

I have the T-Rex and love them. They look great and are no-cut. I was just waiting for something stupid to happen that would cause the bike to tip over until I got them on. Nothing is 100% guaranteed to prevent all damage, but these will help to lessen it. Good luck and let us know what you ultimately decided on and why.

Yeah, my sliders were too late! Something stupid did happen, but luckily the damage was minor. See my other thread for details!

Bummer! Thought crap like that only happened to me. Did you need to replace parts or just polish it out? Did he just tip the bike over or cause damage from backing into it?

Thanks for the input everyone.

I'm going for the T-Rex @ $49 + $10 shipping. They had a group buy @ $39, including shipping, a few months ago - anyone know about any special deals going now?
