Sounds like they made a mean machine, guess if you have the funds a great thing to do. The 2 brothers exhaust and juicebox adding 15+ hp at a shot sounds a little high though, I'd think 10hp around but I sure wouldn't mind 15 more horses for quick starts in traffic.

Not too fond of the 'naked' conversion. I like the fairings...otherwise I would have bought an FZ6

Interesting to see another write-up, though I have a few thoughts on some of what was said.

#1 on the list, loud pipes piss people off.. most of the time. If someone cuts you off, it's not because they couldn't hear you, it's because they didn't see you (and that's our responsibility to be aware at all times). Heck, most people don't hear police and ambulances behind them, they see the flashing lights.

Also, as I've been reading, you can have the best suspension in the world, but if your braking hard or accelerating hard at the wrong time in a turn it won't make a bit of a difference. Sure there is probably improvement for the FZ6R, but even better, and free, is to learn to ride our bike for what it is.

I was surprised, after all else they did, they never touched on the brakes or tires...

And, personal preference, I like my fairings... I like the naked look on some bikes as well, but I bought this bike for it's looks with fairing.

Just my 2cents... (now I'm broke...)

I agree with the panels assessment of the bike's potential. The cosmetic stuff is an individual thing. It's always interesting to get a take on how other owners customize their bike and why.

naked conversion = lame

he should of started with an FZ6, I have seen my FZ6R without the fairing and its DAMN UGLY, brakets hanging all over, and the air duct area looks completely unfinished..
