Default On the cover of a magazine

The March, 2010 Motorcyclist magazine has a "sibling rivalry" comparison of the YZF-R6 and FZ6R (as well as three other same-make pairs). The cover pic is a blue R6 and a Raven (the fastest color, of course) 6R.

After that excitment, the article was a letdown: a completely predictable and rather pointless apples-to-oranges comparison. The authors (both racer types) found the FZ6R to be more comfortable, practical, and tractable, but picked the ($3,000 more expensive, "aggravating," and "uncomfortable") R6 as the winner for its performance.

Oh well, they're the experts on what sells magazines.

Not to shatter your dreams there, boys and girls, but when I think about absolute speed I think about light (lighting fast, speed of light etc)... I have a white FZ6R ...."hint hint"

"In a recent scientific investigation, a prestigious medical group found that the color yellow was more stimulating than any other color, especially white, blue and black." -- S. Marty Pants, M.D.

"Chinese researchers have conclusively proven that the color yellow provides greater aerodynamics and an overall boost in performance." -- Sez Yew, Ph.D.

"Yamaha and Yellow both start with the letter 'Y' and there is a reason for that. Because they are awesome and were meant for each other!" -- Wher Dup, B.S.

See...there is quite a strong bed of evidence that demonstrates that the Yellow FZ6R rocks and tops all others!
