so i just got a call from the dealership telling me that Yamaha has canceled the order for my 2010 fz6r black/gold. they tried all the dealers in the area and they all had the same issue. On the upside.. they are giving me $700 off the 2009 fz6r raven. hope to have that on the road in a week.

Probably because they still have too many 2009's on the floor. Every dealership in town down here still has the same FZ6r's on the floor they've had for the last 6 months. Nobody's buying bikes right now unfortunately. There's a reason Suzuki decided not to even send any of their 2010 GSXR's to the States. They haven't been able to get rid of a lot of the 2009's or 2008's that are still sitting in dealerships.

A couple dealerships have that color down here...9 hours from wisconsin to Kansas isn't that far to drive for a bike...or I am sure some state closer to you has them too.

Your just a bit north from Chicago. I'm sure you can find ANY color you would like down here.

Thanks to everyone for all the input. i've decided to get the 09 yellow they have on the floor. get to pick it up sat, just in time for the weather to get really nice.
