Default JonKerr Interview

Ok I'm up and can't sleep so here it goes.

What do you do for a living?
I'm an outside sales rep for an industrial plastics distributor. We sell plastic corrosive fluid handling products.

How long have you owned your FZ6R?
2 months.

What other modes of transport do you have?
I drive a company car (2009 Camry) for my daily driver for work. Also a 1999 Ford Ranger (Last Ford I'll ever own.) and my wifes 2004 Pontiac Vibe.

If you could have any bike what would it be?
Aprilia RSV4.

What are your hobbies apart from the bike?
Mountain biking, Racing R/C Cars, watching and following racing like F1, MotoGP, AMA Superbike, WSBK, Supercross/motocross, CORR, really watching anything to do with racing.

What is the best place you have visited on your travels and why?
9 days in Maui with the wife was incredible. Or Yellowstone when I was a kid. Gotta get the wife to go there.

How would you best describe yourself?
Typical guy. Easy going. Love to relax and have fun. I don't like people telling me I'm too old to do anything. I live life for today and don't like to take things like work too seriously. I'm already here longer than I should/could have been so I don't take any days for granted. So if I decide I want to try something, (like getting back into BMX racing at 29, learning to ride a motorcycle, etc...) I do it. Weather some may thing I'm crazy or not.

What pets have you got?
2 rat terriers, Jack and Lucy. Just lost my 2 year old bearded dragon a month ago. (He was my buddy. I didn't take that too well. Our pets are like children to us.)

Which invention in history would you most like to have come up with?
GUI computer interface.

If you ruled the world, what is the first thing you would outlaw?
Bigotry and hatred.

If you were forced to entertain us all at the Forum Christmas party - what would your talent be?
It would take a lot of Crown Royal, but the worst karaoke you've ever heard.

Snow or beach?
Beach (Born and raised in San Diego, what do you expect?)

Windows or Mac?
Mac for life.

F1 or MotoGP?
Both

Which track or album rocks your boat?
Right now I'm on a Nickelback kick.

What is your favorite film?
The Godfather, no contest.

Meat or Veg?
Major carnivore. mmmmm a nice steak sounds so good right now.

What is your favorite beverage?
Adult? Crown and Coke
Other- Diet Dr Pepper.

And finally, your number one rule in life?
Life is short, live for now, not for what might be.

Yes very fun dogs. Lots of energy and they shed a ton. But I wouldn't trade them for anything. Ours are brother and sister.

Thanks man. I really miss him. I'm not afraid to admit I cried like a little baby. How big is your beardie? Bob was HUGE! About 26" nose to tail. And people couldn't believe that he actually liked to snuggle up into my neck while laying on my chest.

Nice colors...Falcor is just about 2ft long...standard green...about 2 1/2yrs old...although Falcor is MEAN lol...i know they're docile, but he is such a chicken that he is always beefing up and hissing so I have to keep him separated from the other animals...he chills with me when I play video games though

People looked at me funny when I told them how sad I was when my female Western Hognose snake died. She was 4 years old, and it was totally unexpected. Some people just don't understand that pets are like children, no matter what species they may be.

That really is a great looking beardie. Sorry you had to lose him.

Great picture, JonKerr!! So sorry to hear you lost him...I understand about losing pets, too, & it is very painful. Your dogs are really cute, too. Nice interview, btw.

Thanks man. Bob had been acting a little odd for a couple of days. We were going to take him to the exotic pets vet we have but he was gone by the morning. Still have no idea what it was.

Sorry guys. I didn't mean this to turn into a grieving thread about my Dragon.

It's cool man. We understand more than just bikes, ya know. Motorcyclists tend to be pretty passionate people. That's what makes us a unique breed.
