Need help finding my wife pants - Yamaha FZ6R Forums - International FZ6R / XJ6 Motorcycle Community Forum

OK ladies. I need some help. I'm looking to get my wife some pants for riding pillion. I finally got her a good jacket.

I want to get her a textile pant. Something with knee protection and preferably something with hip protection as well. She wears a size 8 normally but wants something a little roomy and comfortable while she's on the back. And I'd like to have something that can zip to the 8" zipper on the jacket. Any suggestions?

I have to say, I really like that jacket. Wish the guys were that pretty.

Jon, I'd stick with the Joe Rocket to insure compatibility with the zipper. Will these be THE pants or will she wear them over other pants?

For THE pants.... Joe Rocket Ladies Ballistic 7.0 Textile Motorcycle Pants :: New Enough

For over other pants.... Joe Rocket Ladies Alter Ego Textile/Mesh Motorcycle Overpants :: New Enough

Both have great CE adjustable knee armor and both have removable hip padding so you can put in better CE padding on either. Given where you live (climate) I'd go with the 2nd option for better hot weather riding.

Plus the reflective Artwork would better match the jacket.

Yeah they're going to be THE pants. I like the look of the first one and it looks good. She's always cold so I don't think that's a problem. I think I should take her to a shop and have her try them on. Thanks.
