OK, let's not get carried away, saying what oil we use, why, how... Uno has offered to be a guinea pig and is willing to test out something new on his bike....

If you got some good advice like jspansel, post up, otherwise, there are plenty of other threads that talk about oils.

Thanks Dart. Yes no one get their panties in wads..

Basically it's like this..

1. The oil in my bike has only 200 miles on it.
2. I plan on warming her up, ridding for a few miles, 20-50 or so, note the running temps and feel on switching gears and the clutch and general performance and vibrations.
3. Come home change the oil to Royal Purple and repeat.

I will be honest if I can tell a difference or not. I am a very very picky person and I'm sure there may be differences.

The oil in it now is YamaLube 20W-50.
I will use the same weight in RP.

Also there is nothing in the Manual about running that brand specifically so I'm doing this.

Wow...

I needed them with me when I used to be a vendor for them.
I'd have made millions. Okay maybe not, just a few assault charges or something..

Well I guess I'll settle for the gallons.

Seriously though, I've seen so many oil threads descend into chaos over the years with people getting banned as the result. Here we can just talk about boobs waiting on Uno's test results. This place rocks!
